We offer flexible consignment and purchase options and handle everything from photography to shipping.

How selling with us works

Once we've had an initial conversation about selling your items, this is the process most sellers go through.

  1. Submit your items
    Send us clear photos and details using our Seller Form. We accept pre-owned, high-end womenswear, accessories and homeware (small items) in excellent condition.
  2. We review & approve
    Each submission is carefully reviewed. We're selective to keep the edit considered. Once we've agreed on the items to sell, we'll ask you to send your items to us.
  3. Sell or consign
    Depending on your preference and item type we'll either buy it outright (selected items) or list on a consignment basis where you'll earn between 60-70% of the sale price once sold (no hidden fees). See more below. 
  4. We photograph, list & sell
    We handle all the presentation, marketing and customer support. Your pieces get the platform they deserve.
  5. You get paid
    Payouts are issued monthly through bank transfer.

What we're looking for

  • Contemporary designer or high-quality independent brands, high-end high street
  • Items in excellent condition (clean, no damage)
  • Unique, elevated and timeless pieces

We're not currently accepting

  • Fast fashion
  • Heavily worn or damaged items
  • Men's or children's (for now)

Selling with Second // Story: Two simple options

1. Purchase Option for select pieces. We'll purchase your item outright, offering immediate payment rather than waiting for a sale. This is usually around 50% of the expected sale price. You'll be paid as soon as we receive and approve your item.

2. Consignment lets you earn more. We list and sell your items on your behalf. You receive a higher percentage of the final sale price once the item sells. This is usually between 60-70% of the sale price. Payments are made monthly once the return window has passed.
